Bird Bath Stolen on Brady Loop
The police logs for Monday, May 24, contained several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.
At 3:39 a.m. a caller reported that the railroad gates were stuck in the down position on Burtt Road. An officer stated that the gates were down in Ballardvale as well. Railroad workers were performing maintenance on the track.
At 6:08 a.m. police assisted emergency crews with a 50-year-old man that overdosed on narcotics.

At 8:10 a.m. a caller reported a hit and run on River Road.
At 10:37 a.m. police responded to a “hold-up” alarm at a bank on North Main Street. The alarm activation was accidental by a teller.

At 11:34 a.m. a resident reported that someone stole her bird bath from her front yard on Brady Loop.
12:47 p.m. police wrote a written warning for texting while driving on North Main Street.
At 1:22 p.m. police filed a report about various fliers promoting “the Poop Guy” that were taped to telephone poles on Main Street. The posting of the fliers is a bylaw violation.
At 2:40 p.m. a caller reported an injured bat in her backyard on Chester Street.
At 2:54 p.m. a stolen ring was reported on Haverhill Street.
