Box Truck Runs Through Railroad Gate

The police logs for Tuesday, April 5 contained three arrests and several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

Tuesday, April 5

At 12:30 a.m. police arrested Thomas F. Logue, 41, of 16 Balmoral St., on Balmoral Street. Logue was charged with attempting to commit a crime.

At 2:31 a.m. police arrested Carlos Trinidad, 24, of 359 Lowell St., Lawrence, on River Road. Trinidad was charged with the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding in violation with a special regulation.

At 3:22 a.m. police arrested William A. Garcia, 31, of 30 Danbury Drive, Methuen, on Clark Road. Garcia was charged with the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding.

At 9:09 a.m. an injured turkey was reported on Gould Road. Police could not locate the bird.

At 10:27 a.m. police reported that the Enfield Drive street sign was missing at Woburn Street.

At 12:25 p.m. a motorist reported that a white box truck drove through a railroad gate and broke the gate on Pearson Street. Police responded and called the employer of the driver and located him on Route 133. Police issued a citation for a railroad crossing violation. He was also given written warnings for leaving the scene of property damage and no license in possession.

At 4:25 p.m. a motor vehicle roll over accident was reported on Lowell Street with possible entrapment.
