Car Fire Reported on Haverhill Street
The following information was supplied by the Andover Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following are excerpts from the log. The log is open to the public.
Friday, Oct. 28
- At 7:44 a.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle that slid into a guardrail on River Road. No injuries were reported.
- At 10:48 p.m. police arrested Robert Connearney, 18 of 17 Abbot Bridge Road, on Post Office Avenue. Connearney was charged with trespassing, receiving stolen property over $250 and possession of a class B substance, two counts.
- At 12:01 p.m. graffiti on a stop sign was reported on Cutler Road.
- At 7:14 p.m. young kids ringing doorbells then running away were reported on Commanche Place. The kids’ parents were spoken to.

- At 4:38 a.m. police arrested Bernice Aguirre, 29, of 64 Summer St., on Chestnut Street. Aguirre was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating under the influence of drugs and an open container of liquor in a motor vehicle.
- At 9:14 a.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle on fire with an individual inside in front of the YMCA on Haverhill Street. The fire was extinguished and the individual was able to get out of the vehicle.
- At 9:22 a.m. a homeowner reported that his house was broken into on Haggetts Pond Road sometime in the past two days. Detectives responded and officers canvassed the area.
- At 5:58 p.m. a caller reported that she was in a car crash on Main Street. No injuries were reported.
- At 7:38 p.m. a caller reported a tree in the road that ripped down wires on Baker Lane.
- At 9:06 p.m. a tree down and limb in the road were reported on Park Street.
- At 11:18 p.m. a caller reported that a telephone pole just fell down and hit a tree on Shipman Road.
Sunday, Oct. 30
- At 2:23 a.m. a large tree limb blocking the roadway was reported on Lovejoy Road.
- At 3:56 a.m. police arrested Nicholas Stephen Nagy, 21, of 1322 Maple St. Connellsville, P.A., on Minuteman Road. Nagy was charged with disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.
- At 5:10 a.m. a wire shooting sparks was reported on Summer Street.
- At 9:48 a.m. a caller complained about people using his neighbor’s yard to get around a downed tree. An officer put up tape to deter other motorists.
- At 11:44 a.m. a resident reported that his vehicle was broken into on Haskell Road.
- At 2:27 p.m. a two-car motor vehicle accident was reported on Haverhill Street. No injuries were reported.
- At 8:58 p.m. a caller reported that a down tree was nearly invisible because of the darkness and said that they almost hit the tree despite the Andover Police horses surrounding the tree. National Grid came out and put cones around the tree.

- At 7:12 a.m. a caller reported a downed wire in front of her home on Woburn Street.
- At 8:55 a.m. a caller from Southborough asked if an officer could do a well being check on her 94-year-old mother, who lives alone. An officer stopped by and reported that the woman was fine but did not have heat or power. She was transported to a shelter and her daughter was notified.
- At 1:55 p.m. police arrested Scott D. LeBlanc, 40, of 47 Preston St., Lynn. LeBlanc was charged with a marked lanes violation, operating under the influence of liquor and having an open container of liquor in the motor vehicle.
- At 6:08 p.m. a caller reported that a ring was stolen from her home on Pheasant Run Road.
