Cigarette Smokers Busted on Maple Avenue

The police logs for Thursday, May 12, contained several small incidents.

 The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

At 1:45 a.m. an officer spoke to multiple people smoking cigarettes in cars on a piece of property on Maple Avenue where smoking is not allowed. The individuals stopped smoking in the area. 

At 7:16 a.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle accident on Lowell Street. No injuries were reported.

At 9:34 a.m. an officer reported a mouse in an elevator on North Main Street. The Animal Control Officer reported that was removed from the building.

At 3:28 p.m. a caller reported that youths were being rambunctious in the bandstand in the park. An officer found youths just hanging out and did not see any damage.

At 5:38 p.m. a caller reported four youths on the train tracks by Railroad Street. An officer spoke with the youths and they appeared to be college-age kids shooting photos for a project. They left the tracks.

At 8:18 p.m. a couch was reported in the middle of the road on High Plain Road. An officer moved the couch and left a note for the highway department to move it.
