Cops: Man 'High on Crack' While Burglarizing Homes
The 911 caller told police a male had broken into their home and was currently standing in the foyer.

A New Hampshire man was arrested Friday morning after allegedly breaking into two homes in Andover, Mass., during the early morning hours, according to police.
Christopher Hildreth, 28, of Pembroke, N.H., was arrested on Nov. 27, 2015, and charged with armed burglary, unarmed burglary, assault and batter on a police officer, OUI-drugs, and leaving the scene of an accident.
Police were called at around 4 a.m. to Kirkland Drive for a report of a burglary in progress, according to police. A caller told police that a man had broke into his home and was standing in the foyer.

The suspect, Hildreth, allegedly grabbed the phone from the homeowner and then fled back through a window near the front door that he had reportedly used to enter the home, according to a press statement. He then reportedly crossed the street, entered another home with an unlocked rear door, and was confronted by another homeowner.
The New Hampshire man fled the home to the front yard where he was met by Andover Police. While being taken into custody, the suspect allegedly kicked a police officer.

Hildreth stated he was high on crack cocaine, according to police, and had a small laceration on his back which is believed to have occurred when he entered the first home through the broken window.
“Luckily, no one was seriously injured and nothing was taken from either of these homes in this case, thanks to the homeowner’s immediate 911 call and the quick response from police officers on duty,” Chief Patrick Keefe said.
