Cyclist Struck by Vehicle on River Road

Andover Police say that a female was transported for injuries Thursday afternoon after she was hit by a motor vehicle on River Road. 

Police still have little information on the accident, which occurred around 3 p.m Thursday, but did confirm that a female cyclist was struck by a motor vehicle at the intersection River Road and Avery Lane. 

She was transported to an area hospital around 3:30 p.m. Police could not say whether the injuries were serious or not.
