Donkeys Found Wandering on Lowell Street

Tuesday, Dec. 13
At 7:40 a.m. a hit and run accident was reported on Andover Street. A motor vehicle knocked down a stop sign and fled.

At 9:15 a.m. a caller reported her mailbox was vandalized on Dascomb Road.
At 12:07 p.m. two donkeys were reported on the loose on Lowell Street. Iron Stone Farm was notified and responded.

At 12:22 p.m. a caller reported a possible theft from his home on Durham Road.
At 6:08 p.m. a caller reported that someone had stolen several items from her vehicle overnight on Juniper Road.
At 8:11 p.m. police arrested Philip E. Moncreiff, 53, of 24 Wedgewood Road, Newton, on Lowell Street. He was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor and following too closely.
Wednesday, Dec. 14
At 1:41 p.m. police responded to an alarm activation on Beacon Street. It turned out to be a dog running around inside.
At 1:51 p.m. a caller reported that someone broke into his truck and stole his wallet and GPS on Lowell Junction Road.
At 3:20 p.m. a motorist was stopped and given citations for a marked lanes violation and possession of marijuana.
At 7:11 p.m. a caller reported a three-car motor vehicle accident on Route 125. No injuries were reported.
