Five Things To Do This Weekend

It’s Friday and we’ve got some ideas to help you plan a fun weekend but, at the same time, stay local. From live music to the Stanley Cup, we are showcasing some enriching experiences this weekend for Andover Patch readers.

Why Go: Get floored with the live music experience of Four to the Floor.

Where/When: Saturday, July 9, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tewksbury Country Club, Tewksbury

Why Go: If you have to ask yourself this question, then this may not be your thing. Go Bruins.

Where/When: Saturday, July 9 and Sunday, July 10, various locations in and around Andover

Why Go: Go out and find a deal or two at a number of yard sales in the area. Find our weekend yard sale post at 3 p.m.

When: Sunday, July 10 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 55 Towne Road, Boxford.

Why Go: Take a short trip through the winding, wooded roads of Boxford to listen to an author speak about the restoration of a 19^th century working farmstead, complete with barns, a farmhouse, carriage house and 17 acres of land. Visitors will take a tour of the farmstead and go back in time (Yes, you will literally go back in time. It’s great).
