Gas Prices: Gas continues to go down. Here are some of the lowest unleaded gas prices, according to motortrend.com: the – $3.77/gallon; , Route 125 and Salem Street- $3.75/gallon; Mobil 14 North Main Street– $3.85/gallon.

Weather:  Today should be mostly sunny with a high temperature near 93 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. There will be a 20 percent chance of a thunderstorm with a low temperature around 69 degrees.

Bald Hill Composting: The Bald Hill Compost Site on High Plain Road is now operating on the Summer schedule from June 1st to October 1st. Hours of operation are: Wednesdays - 12 noon to 4 p.m., and Saturdays – 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Permits are required, and are available by mail or in person at the Plant & Facilities offices located in the lower level of the Town Offices at 36 Bartlet Street.
