Bald Hill Closes Nov. 30: The Bald Hill Compost Site on High Plain Road will close for the winter months on Wednesday. Visit the site from now until Wednesday, 12 noon to 4 p.m. Permits are required, and are available by mail or in person at the Plant & Facilities offices located in the lower level of the Town Offices at 36 Bartlet Street.

Gas Prices: Gas seems to be starting to go up slightly. Here are some of the lowest unleaded gas prices according to motortrend.com:; the 65 Main Street – $3.33/gallon; Sunoco, 220 North Main St., $3.33/gallon. Mobil, 14 N. Main St. – $3.36/gallon

Weather: Today will bring a 30 percent chance of rain with a high temperature of 65 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will bring 100 percent chance of rain with a low temperature of 53 degrees.
