ANDOVER, MA — High school football's return is back to normal this fall in Massachusetts.

Following a season that was postponed in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic and moved to the spring of 2021, the Andover High School Golden Warriors are back on the gridiron this fall.

The Golden Warriors' regular season began Friday when the team hosted First Baptist Academy, of Naples Fl. See the full Andover football schedule below:

  • Week 1: 7:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 3, vs. First Baptist Academy
  • Week 2: 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 10 vs. Shrewsbury
  • Week 3: 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 17 at Acton-Boxborough
  • Week 4: Noon, Saturday, Sept. 25, vs. Lawrence
  • Week 5: 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 1, at Central Catholic
  • Week 6: 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 7, vs. Methuen
  • Week 7: 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 15, at Haverhill
  • Week 8: 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 22, at Lowell
  • Week 9: 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 29, vs. Tewksbury
  • Thanksgiving game: 10 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 25, vs. North Andover
