This press release was provided by M. Renee Buckley for Eccentric Movement Fitness.

Ahh, summer. It comes and goes in the blink of an eye around here, and before we know it, it’s back to school, back to work, back to a schedule, back to … too-tight jeans?!

If indulging in some of summer’s best treats -- a frosty beer here, an ice cream cone there – has you dreading squeezing back into your jeans, Andover’s Eccentric Movement Fitness at 10 Post Office Avenue has just the thing: The Lean Jean Challenge!

Designed to motivate both those who let the summer get the best of them and those who already feel great and want to take their fitness to new heights (and everyone in between), the Lean Jean Challenge is an eight-week program designed to whip anyone and everyone’s butts into shape.

Eccentric Movement owner Elizabeth Morrison is sure that everyone who follows the challenge’s program will see results.

“By setting a goal and taking all of the classes in the challenge, combined with health and fitness tips that will be personalized to you, you will see and feel results in your body and mind,” says Morrison.

And to sweeten the pot just a bit – because Morrison knows everyone will want to show off those revamped bodies – two Lean Jean Challenge Grand Prize winners will receive a free pair of designer jeans from Andover’s dresscode Boutique and a free pack of 10 group classes at Eccentric Movement (that’s more than $300 in prizes for each winner).

Additionally, all participants who complete the challenge will receive $10 off their next class 10-pack to Eccentric Movement, and a 15 percent off coupon at dresscode.

Sign ups are open until next Monday, Sept. 12, when the challenge begins. The challenge runs through Monday, Nov. 7.

How does it work?

So, what exactly does this challenge consist of? Those who enter the challenge get 28 group class credits at Eccentric Movement, which works out to three and a half classes a week – or three one week, four the next, for instance. The 28 classes can be taken in any configuration entrants wish, but they must be used by the end of the challenge on Monday, Nov. 7.

Not just focused solely on the workouts, Lean Jean Challenge participants will also receive bi-weekly newsletters throughout the challenge, which will include health, nutrition and fitness tips to keep everyone on track and motivated.

The cost of the challenge is $252, which works out to $9 per class, a savings of $6 per single class.
