GLCAC Head Start Student Starts at Pike School
Anadir follows an impressive list of success stories from Head Start

One new face the students at Pike School see belongs to Anadir Soares-Guzman, a bright young kindergarten student from the Greater Lawrence Community Action Council's Head Start Program.
"Anadir is able to express himself, advocate for himself and others, and is an exceptional leader at such a very young age," his Head Start teacher Keitza Gonzalez said.
Soares-Guzman is the 14th student from the Head Start Program to be accepted to Pike in the past seven years. The program provides preschool education to children of low-income families in the region.
"We are very proud of Anadir and all of our Head Start students," GLCAC Executive Director Evelyn Friedman said. "Our strong curriculum and dedicated staff enable our students to literally get the head start they need to excel in school. We are extremely grateful to the Pike School for recognizing the excellence of our students and responding with unmatched generosity."
The Pike School offers the families financial aid to pay for tuition.
