Hit and Run Reported on River Road

The following information was supplied by the Andover Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following are excerpts from the log. The log is open to the public.

Tuesday, Dec. 6

  • At 5:25 a.m. police arrested Ryan Michael Asoian, 21, of 120 Abbot St., on Abbot Street. Asoian was charged with assault, intimidation of a witness, and threatening to commit a crime.
  • At 1:56 p.m. a caller claimed a man was taking pictures of her house on Turner Circle. When she asked him to sto, he took a picture of her and then drove off. An officer reports the man was from a bank.
  • At 5:23 p.m. a caller reported a car with three teenagers drove over his lawn on Andover Street. An officer did not locate the vehicle.
  • At 6:05 p.m. a caller reported a two-car motor vehicle accident on High Plain Road. No injuries were reported.

  • At 3:43 p.m. a caller reported a hit and run on River Road. The motorist reported that a grey Honda Civic hit her and then kept going onto Interstate 93. Police located the motorist who admitted to being in the incident but did not cause any damage.
  • At 6:20 p.m. a caller reported that he stuck a streetlight on North Main Street. The electrical inspector was notified.
  • At 6:43 p.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle hit a black decorated post on their property on Essex Street. An officer reported minimal damage.
