Hyde Park Man Arrested for Assault and Battery

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

Saturday, Nov. 10

At 10:36 a.m. a caller reported a woman laying facedown on a bridge on Harold Parker Road. An officer responded and saw a woman elsewhere who claimed she had been laying down at one point because she was looking for her keys in the water.

At 2:22 p.m. a caller reported a two-car crash on North Main Street. No injuries were reported.

At 7:03 p.m. a business owner reported a dart tournament that was getting unruly on River Road. The people involved left prior to the arrival of an officer.

Sunday, Nov. 11

At 1:59 a.m. police arrested Concilio Thomas E. III, 20, of 1124 Hyde Park Ave., Apt. 2, Hyde Park, on Fox Hill Road. Thomas was charged with assault and battery, resisting arrested, disorderly conduct and threatening to commit a crime.

At 3:21 a.m. a caller reported smoke inside apartment on Balmoral Street. The fire department cleared the scene.

At 9:36 a.m. a caller reported a possible water main break on Donna Road. The water department responded.

At 1:58 p.m. a caller reported that a student on Great Quad road is saying that his backpack, containing an iPhone and a laptop, was stolen. The student reported that he tracked the phone to the Ballardvale Train Station. An officer went there but did not locate the phone or the backpack.

At 9:11 p.m. a caller reported that her house was egged on Wild Rose Drive.
