Judge Seals Court Documents Related to Search Warrant in Murder Case
Essex County District Attorney Jon Blodgett first released details about the murder of Colleen Ritzer Wednesday morning. Investigators also searched Philip Chism's home and documents related to that search are now sealed.

Fourteen-year-old Philip Chism is being tried as an adult for the murder of his math teacher Colleen Ritzer, but on Thursday afternoon, a judge sealed all court documents in the case that are related to a search warrant.
The Salem News reports Salem District Court Judge Michael Laurenzano ordered the documents sealed shortly before court closed for the day and that the order affects everything from the search warrant application to the results of the search and a motion from prosecutors to impound the record.
The paper reports that police did search Chism's home in Danvers.
