Laptop Stolen on River Road

Wednesday, Oct. 5

At 2:21 a.m. police arrested Kristin L. Averill, 36, 311 Lowell St., Apt. 2214, on Lowell Street. Averill was charged with a marked lanes violation, speeding in violation of a special regulation and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor.

At 7:28 a.m. a caller reported a wire down in the area of Ballardvale Road. Comcast was notified.

At 10:17 a.m. a caller reported that his car was broken into in the parking lot of Dunkin Donuts.

At 3:04 p.m. a caller reported that a solicitor stepped in front of her car in Shawsheen Square while she was moving and she almost hit the solicitor. An officer checked on the solicitors.

At 5:29 a.m. a caller reported receiving harassing text messages from an unknown number.

At 9:10 p.m. a caller reported that the window of his Nissan was smashed and that his laptop was also taken on River Road.

Thursday, Oct. 6

At 2:21 p.m. a student at reported that his Honda was vandalized.

At 4:29 p.m. a caller reported a coyote in her backyard on Chandler Road. Police informed the caller that children should not be playing in the yard until after the animal leaves.
