Laptops Stolen From Phillips Academy's GW Hall

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.
Wednesday, Oct. 10
At 7:27 a.m. a caller reported a two-car motor vehicle accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported and no tows were needed.

At 1:11 p.m. a caller reported a two-car motor vehicle accident on River Road. Injuries were reported.
At 3:30 p.m. Phillips Academy public safety reported that a student’s backpack containing a laptop was stolen from George Washington Hall on Chapel Avenue.

At 4:07 p.m. Phillips Academy public safety reported that a second laptop was reported stolen from George Washington Hall. Public safety staff met up with officers.
Thursday, Oct. 11
At 6:15 a.m. a caller reported construction noise starting across the street from his home on Salem Street. An officer spoke to the contractor who will stop until 7 a.m.
At 10:34 a.m. Andover Police assisted Tewksbury with a missing person. The person was eventually found at their home in Tewksbury.
At 12:44 p.m. a caller reported a two-car crash on Lowell Street. No injuries were reported.
At 2:53 p.m. a hit and run crash was reported on Kirkland Street.
At 8:15 p.m. a caller reported a breaking and entering into a building on North Main Street.
Friday, Oct. 12
At 9:57 a.m. police arrested Patricia L. Simard, 48, of 14 Tyng Road, Tyngsborough, on Colonial Drive. Simard was charged with distribution of a class B substance.
At 10:19 a.m. police arrested Mark F. Flanagan, 53, of 21 Brookline St., Cambridge, on Colonial Drive. Flangan was charged with distribution of a class B substance and possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute.
At 11:43 a.m. a caller reported a two-car crash on Bartlet Street. No injuries were reported.
At 10:41 p.m. police arrested Paul M. Lyons, 41, of 8 Oxford Road, Derry, N.H., on River Road. Lyons was charged with operating under the influence of liquor, third offense.
