LET US KNOW: Updates on the Safety Andover Runners, Spectators

Andover Patch wants to hear from the residents that were running and watching today's Marathon about their safety.

Dozens of people were injured by two explosions near the Boston Marathon finish line this afternoon and Andover had 41 people running in the event, in addition to those attending the event to watch. 

With chaotic atmosphere in Boston right now, Andover Patch would love to know that Andover residents and spectators are safe.

Via Twitter, Andover runner Caroline Bjune was reported safe. No other updates have come forward

According to the official Boston Marathon site, 10 Andover runners finished the race before the two explosions went off. 

There are multiple reports of victims with missing limbs, bloodied heads and other extremely serious injuries. WBZ-4 reported  at least a dozen victims with "grave injuries."

The 10 runners that finished the race include Sean Hamilton, Jose Loureiro, James Primes, Jonathan Hudgins, Joshua Accomando, Justin Pytka, John Goodwin, Ken C. Cain, Jr., Susanne Kiley and Lisa Doucett.
