Mail Truck Hits Car on River Road

Thursday, Oct. 13
At 7:21 a.m. a caller reported that he was rear-ended on the off ramp from Interstate 93 onto River Road. The caller reported significant damage.

At 12:42 p.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle accident on North Main Street. No injuries were reported.
At 3:42 p.m. a caller reported that a mail truck at the Mobil Station on River Road hit her rental car.

At 7:07 p.m. a caller reported that a salesman from Verizon came to her door on Cheever Circle. An officer spoke with the subjects going door to door and informed them of the hours of soliciting.
At 7:09 p.m. an employee from the library reported that a young man’s bicycle was stolen in Elm Square.
At 7:17 p.m. police responded to a single car crash in which a vehicle hit a fire hydrant. The hydrant appeared to be ok but the Water Department was notified.
