Man Chases House Break Suspects

Thursday, Dec. 22

At 12:49 a.m. police report that the railroad gates were stuck at Railroad Street.

At 1:48 p.m. a caller reported that his Lowell Street house was broken into and he chased the suspects off. He reported the suspects were two males. He said they left in a tan or yellow van heading toward Tewksbury.

At 3:03 p.m. a hit and run accident was reported on Union Street. One man reported that he was involved in a crash and the other operator left the scene.

At 9:24 p.m. police arrested Kenneth Hoff, 53, of 100 Washington Ave., Apt. 1, on Washington Park Drive. Hoff was charged with assault and battery on a household member.
