MassDOT To Hold Meetings On I-495 Andover-Lawrence Bridge Project

Construction is anticipated to begin in the spring and take about four years.

ANDOVER, MA — MassDOT will hold in-person public information meetings on the status of the I-495 Andover-Lawrence Bridge replacement project.

The first meeting will be Monday, April 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at South Lawrence East Elementary School at 165 Crawford St.

The second meeting will be Tuesday, April 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Robb Senior Center at 30 Whittier Court in Andover.

MassDOT is replacing six bridges on I-495 where the interstate runs between Andover and Lawrence.

Construction is anticipated to begin in the spring and take about four years. Construction includes temporary lane closures, ramp closures, and detours.
