Three men accused of severely beating an Andover man in New York city have been acquitted of attempted murder, <a href="http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/men-acquitted-attempted-murder-greenwich-village-beatdown-article-1.1478922" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">The New York Daily News is reporting.</a> Prosecutors say Hatem Farsakh, Sherif Rizk and Mahmoud Habib beat Kevin McCarron of Andover with baseball bat and tire iron during a fight in Greenwich Village in January after a dispute over someone sitting on a car. The men were acquitted of the attempted murder charge, but Farsakh, 30, was convicted of felony gang assault, among other things. And Rizk, 22, was convicted of assault.
