Men Acquitted of Attempted Murder of Andover Man in NYC
The case stems from a fight in January.

Three men accused of severely beating an Andover man in New York city have been acquitted of attempted murder, The New York Daily News is reporting.
Prosecutors say Hatem Farsakh, Sherif Rizk and Mahmoud Habib beat Kevin McCarron of Andover with baseball bat and tire iron during a fight in Greenwich Village in January after a dispute over someone sitting on a car.
The men were acquitted of the attempted murder charge, but Farsakh, 30, was convicted of felony gang assault, among other things. And Rizk, 22, was convicted of assault. Both are scheduled for sentencing next month.
