Multiple Cars' Tires Slashed on Andover Street

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

Friday, Oct. 5

At 12:15 a.m. police arrested Nikolaos P Kalemkerides, 21, of 705 West Roxbury Parkway, West Roxbury, on Fox Hill Road. Kalemkerides was charged with disorderly conduct.

At 11:20 a.m. a caller reported that the tires on her Honda CRV were slashed on Andover Street. Another neighbor’s car’s tires were slashed as well.

At 1:18 p.m. a business owner on Andover Street reported that an ex-employee was stealing money from him through bad checks.

At 2:42 p.m. a caller reported two kids throwing rocks off the bridge over Interstate 93 on River Road. An officer checked the area but did not see the kids.

At 2:45 p.m. a caller reported a two-car accident with injury on Abbot Street. An officer shut down a section of Abbot Street for the accident.

At 3:19 p.m. an office reported a paving crew with civilian flaggers was causing confusion on the roadway on Jenkins Road. An officer checked the area but did not see the confusion.

At 4:14 p.m. a caller reported that the tires on his white Ford were slashed on Andover Street.

Saturday, Oct. 6

At 11:28 a.m. a caller reported a hit and run on North Main Street. The caller was following the landscaping company trailer that hit his mirror and took off.

At 12:32 p.m. a caller reported that a motor vehicle was broken into in the Boston Sports Club parking lot on Lowell Street within the past 45 minutes.

At 1:01 p.m. a caller reported that her car’s tires were slashed on Andover Street.

Sunday, Oct. 7

At 9:37 a.m. a caller on Bellevue Road reported a loose pig in the area.

At 9:59 a.m. a caller reported that someone shot a BB at his house on Red Spring Road.

At 10:05 a.m. a caller reported a possible water main break in the area on Garfield Lane East and said that water was coming up through the street drains. An officer reported that there is water in the area but is unsure where it is coming from. The water department was notified.

At 10:16 a.m. police arrested Ryan Patenaude, 28, of 121 Martin St., Apt. 1, Lowell, on North Main Street. Patenaude was charged with assault and battery and household member.

At 1:59 p.m. a caller reported that the occupants of a white van were taking political signs off residents’ lawns in the area of Brown Street.
