'Multiple Patients' After Serious Wreck Involving 2 Semis And 1 Car: Firefighters

ANDOVER, MA — Five ambulances were called to transport "multiple patients," at least two with serious injuries, after a wreck on Interstate 495 in Andover early Monday evening on Interstate 495 in Andover, according to firefighters.

The crash on I-495 at Route 133 involved two semitrailers and a car, according to the Andover Firefighters Local 1658 Facebook page.

Lawrence General Hospital made a blood unit request, the post said.

Andover Fire and Rescue advised motorists to avoid the area of the crash.

The firefighters local Facebook page said northbound I-495 was closed to traffic.
