NASA Representatives Visit With Students At Andover School
Greater Lawrence Tech students are making contributions to the International Space Station.

ANDOVER, MA – Students at Greater Lawrence Technical School are making their mark on space travel through a partnership with NASA.
Representatives from NASA’s HUNCH program visited the school March 3 to meet with students in advanced manufacturing, robotics, metal fabrication, and environmental science. During the visit, students signed a storage locker that will be sent to the International Space Station.
Students in the school’s advanced manufacturing program have worked for several years on latch knobs used to secure storage lockers aboard the station. Greater Lawrence Tech is the only high school to successfully produce these components to NASA’s strict standards.
