New Jersey Man Charged with Resisting Arrest
The police logs for Saturday, April 16, and Sunday, April 17, contained several small incidents and three arrests.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.
Saturday, April 16
At 2:19 a.m. police arrested Richard A. Van Kampen III, 21, of 497 North Central Ave., Ramsey, N.J. on Fox Hill Road. Van Kampen was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

At 2:44 a.m. police arrested David Melo, 21, of 18 Applehill Lane, Lynnfield, on Fox Hill Road.
At 7:06 a.m. a two-car motor vehicle accident was reported on Lowell Street. No personal injuries were reported.

At 8:25 a.m. a multi-car accident was reported on Interstate 495. Police assisted State Police.
At 2:07 p.m. a caller reported that a man was taking photos of his house on High Plain Road. An officer spoke to the man and he turned out to be taking photos for a house appraisal, as the homeowners had refinanced their home.
Sunday, April 17
At 1:13 a.m. police arrested Christian W. Chappell, 33, of 180 Andover St., on Central Street. Chappell was charged with the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a revoked registration and an uninsured motor vehicle.
At 7:54 a.m. a resident reported a water main break on Embassy Lane. The Water Department was notified.
At 9:27 a.m. a caller reported that someone had thrown liquor bottles through the window of his wife’s car on Haggatts Pond Road. An officer filed the incident.
At 12:33 p.m. a caller reported that their car window was smashed on Bulfinch Drive.
At 9:28 p.m. police responded to a call of a noise complaint coming from a restaurant on Essex Street. Police spoke with the restaurant staff about the music, which was determined to be unreasonably loud. The caller was also spoken to by the officer.
