North Andover Teen Charged with Intent to Distribute Marijuana

Friday, Aug. 5

At 10:37 a.m. a caller reported that three cars’ tires were slashed on Arundel Street.

At 10:57 a.m. a two-car motor vehicle accident was reported on Lowell Street.

At 2:09 p.m. a caller reported a hit and run on Elm Street that occurred overnight.

At 7:05 p.m. an employee from the reported that a guest had hit a car and drove off.

At 7:16 p.m. a caller reported a pick up truck speeding up and down the street on Forest Hill Drive.

Saturday, Aug. 6

At 3:02 p.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle going the wrong way on Union Street coming from Lawrence.

At 9:10 a.m. a resident reported threats on Wild Rose Drive.

At 10:34 a.m. a caller reported seeing a dog off a leash that showed its teeth to him on Rose Glen Drive.

At 12:41 p.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 93 Northbound. No injuries were reported.

At 9:15 p.m. an officer responded to a loud bang in the area of .

Sunday, Aug. 7

At 12:25 a.m. police arrested James K. Maclean, 48 , of 5 Gleason St., Apt. 2, Methuen, on Interstate 93. Maclean was charged with a marked lanes violation, a seat belt violation and operating under the influence of liquor, third offense.

At 1:07 a.m. police arrested Cody J. Ardagna, 17, of 36 Chapin Road, North Andover, on Carlisle Street. Ardagna was charged with possession of liquor as a minor, failure to signal, improper operation of a motor vehicle, an open container of liquor in the motor vehicle, failure to stop for police, a motor vehicle lights violation, possession of a class D substance with intent to distribute and possession of a class E substance (two counts).

At 12:36 p.m. a caller reported that a tree has fallen across Lakeside Circle.

At 2:46 p.m. a caller reported a down wire on Stinson Road. It turned out to be a cable TV wire.
