Three-Car Accident Causing Delays on 495 North

State Police are reporting non-life threatening injuries in a three-car accident on Interstate 495 north that occurred around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

While closing the entire highway at first, police have reduced Interste 495 north to one lane while they finish handling the large, multi-car collision. One of the vehicles was completely involved in flames.

State police said that non of the injuries involved appear to be life-threatening.

Police are currently working to clear the scene but motorist should expect delays on the road and seek an alternate route if possible.
