Peabody Man Arrested on Second DUI

The police logs for Monday, May 30, contained two arrests and several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

At 2:47 a.m. police reported that a private security vehicle will be outside of Stop and Shop until they open.

At 4:06 a.m. police arrested Luke Mathum Raphael, 23, of 12 Pine St., Peabody, on North Main Street. Raphael was charged with speeding and operating under the influence of liquor, second offense.

At 8:21 a.m. police arrested David Jonathan Voyer, 20, of 33 Corbett St., on Lovejoy Road. Voyer was charged with possessing liquor as a minor, speeding, operating under the influence of liquor, operating to endanger, and an open container of liquor in the motor vehicle.

At 11:20 a.m. police reported a large hole in the ground across from 25 Bartlet St. An officer placed a cone over it so no one would fall into it.

At 1:27 p.m. a hit and run was reported on Whittier Court. The vehicle was last seen heading toward the .

At 3:52 p.m. a caller reported a group of 20 to 30 kids going to , with the gate still closed for the season. The group was gone upon an officers arrival.

At 10:09 p.m. theft from multiple purses was reported on Andover Street. Money was reported stolen from two different purses.
