Police Assist in Lawrence Armed Robbery

The police logs for Monday, April 18, contained several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

Monday, April 18

At 8:12 a.m. a caller reported a tree that was down and was blocking the street on Salem Street. An officer discovered that the tree was just in the man’s yard.

At 9:28 a.m. a suspicious motor vehicle parked outside of a home on Matthew Street was reported. Police spoke with the operator and he was a private investigator. All was clear.

At 12:38 p.m. police issued a verbal warning for failing to yield for an emergency vehicle on North Main Street.

At 2:17 p.m. an injured hawk was reported on Salem Street.

At 2:59 a.m. police gave several individuals warning for trespassing on Executive Park Drive.

At 4:54 p.m. police assisted in locating an individual believed to be part of an armed robbery that just took place in Lawrence.

At 6:05 p.m. a caller reported a goose had caused an accident on the roadway River Road. An officer found that the animal was a turkey and was out of the road.
