Police Catch Hit and Run Motorist
The police logs for Thursday, May 18, contained one arrest and several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.
At 12:28 a.m. police arrested Susan J. Coldwell, 55, of 99 North Main St., on North Main Street. Coldwell was charged with disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.
At 8:32 a.m. a fight was reported at the Greater Lawrence Technical High School on River Road.

At 10:25 p.m. police reported a couch that was dumped on High Plain Road.
At 11:14 a.m. a caller reported that her cell phone was stolen from her vehicle on North Main Street.

At 1:23 p.m. a motorist reported a coyote on the side of the road on River Road.
At 3:19 p.m. police reported a vehicle that was hit by another vehicle that sped off after the collision. State Police caught up with the driver in Haverhill and Andover Police summonsed the individual for leaving the scene of property damage and a stop sign violation.
At 3:49 p.m. an officer assisted a homeowner with a squirrel in a home on Sunset Rock Road. They left a trap for the homeowner.
At 7:52 p.m. an officer reported a vandalized motor vehicle on Bulfinch Drive. Someone had smashed the window of the vehicle.
