Police Find Shoplifter from Richdale's

The following are excerpts from the log. The log is open to the public.

Friday, Sept. 30

At 10:28 a.m. a business on Connector Road reported that a storage trailer was broken into sometime in the past few months. The lock to the trailer was cut and then replaced.

At 10:43 a.m. a caller reported that his dog was taken from his car on Main Street. On a second inspection, the animal was found in the back seat of the car laying down.

At 1:10 p.m. police arrested Leah A. Mullen, 35, of 5 Lancelot Court, Salem, N.H., on River Road. Mullen was charged with the distribution of a class B substance.

At 4:25 p.m. a caller reported three youths riding the elevator up and down in the Barnard Building and throwing chairs around. An officer spoke with the youths.

Saturday, Oct. 1

At 12:29 p.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle accident on Route 125 with no injuries.

At 2:42 p.m. a caller reported that his truck and trailer were stolen on Lupine Road.

At 7:47 p.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on North Main Street.

At 8:55 p.m. police arrested Seungwoo Ho, 48, of 147 Haggetts Pond Road, on Haggetts Pond Road. Ho was charged with assault and battery on a household member.

Sunday, Oct 2

At 3:26 a.m. police arrested Peter F. Fleming, 21, of 44 Webb St., Weymouth, on River Road. Fleming was charged with a marked lanes violation and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor.

At 1:18 p.m. Richdales reported a teenager shoplifting two bottles of beer. Passing motorists reported two kids running down Essex Street. An officer caught up with two teenagers near the railroad tracks and took one back to the station.

At 3:39 p.m. an officer witnessed a drug transaction on Lowell Street and one individual was summonsed for sale of a class B substance.

At 10:22 p.m. police arrested Simba Masiyiwa, 38, 191 Andover St., on Andover Street. Masiyiwa was charged with assault and battery on a household member and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
