Police Investigating Library Break-In

The police logs for Wednesday, June 1, contained one arrests, a break-in and several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

At 8:35 a.m. police reported that thewas broken into overnight. Police are currently investigating the matter and would not release many details. Police did say that some of the drawers in the office looked like they had been gone through and some petty cash was stolen.

At 11:09 a.m. police reported a one-car motor vehicle accident on North Main Street.

At 11:23 a.m. police arrested Melina Marie Beaudoin, 24, 350 Broadway St., Lawrence, on River Road. Beaudoin was charged with speeding and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

At 11:39 a.m. a caller reported people at traffic lights asking for money on North Main Street.

At 12:06 p.m. a caller reported a two-car motor vehicle accident on Railroad Street. No injuries were reported.

At 12:20 p.m. a caller reported credit card fraud on Red Spring Road. The caller had lost his wallet and someone had used his credit card.

At 1:06 p.m. an officer reported that the railroad gates on Andover Street were stuck in the down position.

At 6:31 p.m. police assisted an individual stuck in an elevator on New England Business Center Drive.
