A Malden man and a Saugus man were killed in an accident on Saturday morning.

Police recently reported that an Interstate 93 accident caused by an allegedly intoxicated driver yesterday morning has now resulted in two deaths.
Joseph A. Coppola, 57 of Malden, the second passenger in the Blazer involved in the crash yesterday, died after being brought to the hospital with serious injuries following the crash.
Police have still not identified the Saugus man who died earlier from the accident allegedly caused by a 21-year-old Lawrence female driving under the influence of alcohol.

Police arrested Fernandez, 21, of Lawrence, following the accident and are charging her with operating under the influence of alcohol. She will be arraigned Monday morning at Lawrence District Court.
Police are saying that Fernandez was allegedly driving her 2002 Acura at a high rate of speed on I-93 northbound when she hit the Chevy Blazer occupied by the three men. After hitting the Blazer, she allegedly swerved onto the median and then back into the northbound lane, hitting the Blazer again.
