Police Investigate Thief Stealing Catch Basins, Drain Covers

The following are excerpts from the log. The log is open to the public.

Tuesday, Oct. 18

At 9:38 a.m. the highway department reported that catch basins had been stolen on Lewis Street.

At 10:11 a.m. threats were reported on Lowell Street.

At 12:03 p.m. the theft of storm drain covers was reported on Christian Way.

At 4:32 p.m. a resident reported that her neighbor’s dog attacked her chickens on Candlewood Drive.

At 5:35 p.m. a caller reported that someone egged his house on Avery Lane.

At 9:53 p.m. a caller reported that someone keeps knocking on the window on North Main Street.
