Police Respond to 3 a.m. Fireworks

The police logs for Monday, July 4, contained several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

At 3:30 a.m. a caller reported fireworks on Somerset Drive. Police spoke with people in the area, but did not find any fireworks.

At 6:47 a.m. a caller reported hitting a hawk with his motor vehicle on Bailey Road.

At 3 p.m. a caller reported motor vehicle accident on Interstate 495 involving a motorcycle. State Police responded.

At 4:08 p.m. police reported a stop sign that was tipping over on Red Spring Road.

At 4:13 p.m. a caller reported kids skateboarding in the middle of North Main Street. An officer spoke with the youths.

At 8:25 p.m. a caller reported an elderly man walking along Route 125 that looked confused.
