Police Respond to Three Accidents

The police logs for Wednesday, June 8, contained several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

At 3:10 p.m. police arrested Rhadames A. Lachapel, 60, 169 Salem St., Lawrence, on River Road. Lachapel was charged with driving with a license revoked for an operating under the influence conviction.

At 3:11 a.m. a caller reported that the railroad gates at Essex Street were stuck in the down position. The problem was eventually fixed.

At 10:32 a.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Dascomb Road.

At 10:41 a.m. police reported a manhole cover that is caving in on Haverhill Street.

At 12:46 p.m. a caller reported a car fire on Route 114 in North Andover. Police assisted with the incident.

At 2:15 p.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on South Main Street.

At 5:09 p.m. a caller reported a three-car crash with injuries on Route 125. Police found that the accident involved only one car and there were no injuries, just a woman with Type 1 diabetes who was not feeling well.
