Question: When Is It OK For Kids to Join Facebook?

My kids are still in elementary school, so as of right now, I can't imagine I'd let them join Facebook earlier than High school, since Middle school is too rife with drama already.

My husband and I will base our decision on how responsible they act rather than how old they are.  So there's potential my daughter won't join until she's in college or that she'll join as a Freshman at the same time her older brother joins as a Junior. 

That is, if there's not another social network created so kids can avoid the same circles as their parents!
