Rolling Green Reports Night Drinking on Golf Course

The police logs for Monday, June 13, contained several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

At 9:24 a.m. an officer reported a possible gas leak on Morton Street. Colombia Gas was notified.

At 11:27 a.m. a caller reported that her vehicle was broken into overnight on Center Street and items were taken from it.

At 12:25 a.m. a walk-in visitor to the station reported that he had found a varment gun in his house on Graneli Drive that had belonged to a previous owner. An officer got the item and destroyed it.

At 2:10 p.m. an odor of sewage was reported on William Street. The water department was notified.

At 5:14 p.m. a two-car motor vehicle accident was reported on Haverhill Street.

At 8:36 p.m. the manager at the Rolling Green on River Road reported that people were coming back on the golf course property after they close to drink. He requested extra checks from police.
