Chelmsford Man Arrested for Shoplifting

The following are excerpts from the log. The log is open to the public.

Monday, Nov. 28

At 5:13 a.m. a caller reported a tree branch that took down a power line on Red Spring Road.

At 8:06 a.m. illegal dumping was reported on Shawsheen Road. A custodian at Andover High School reported that someone filled the Dumpster with tires.

At 9:23 a.m. a minor motor vehicle accident was reported on River Road. A vehicle had knocked down a road sign.

At 12:53 p.m. a hit and run was reported on Post Office Avenue.

At 1:35 p.m. a caller reported a fire in the woods on Oriole Drive. The fire department had the small brush fire under control.

At 5:48 p.m. a two-car motor vehicle accident was reported on North Main Street. No injuries were reported.
