Andover Officials to Review Demolition of Historic Home

Before you start your day here are five things to know.

1. Preservation Committee: The Preservation Committee will be going on a site walk today at 8:30 a.m. to review the possible demolition of the Merrill House at Phillips Academy. This picturesque colonial home, located at 17 Salem St., was built in the 1850s and has a stone foundation with clapboard siding. Check out the Preservation Committee's agenda online or the historic home's profile in a library database. 

2: Election Results: Check all local election results for Tuesday's state primary online at Andoverma.gov.  

3.Weather: Today with be sunny with a high of 69 and tonight will be clear with a low of 41.

4. TownofAndover.com Supporters: Join the supporters and organizers of a new government-minded website called  are meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at Dylan's Bar and Grill to discuss their next steps. 

5. Wiggle Words, Memorial Hall Library, 11 a.m.: A half hour program to introduce children Birth to 2 to books and the library using rhymes, songs, and simple stories. No registration required - Kid's website .
