Snow Parking Ban in Effect

The Town of Andover has issued a snow parking on all streets in Andover.

Snowtober is in full effect and so is the new parking ban that Andover tried out for the first time during last season's snow barrage. Check the website for the latest status on the snow parking ban.

Here is a release provided by the town of Andover:

A Snow Parking Ban is currently in effect for all streets in Andover. No vehicles shall be parked overnight on any street, or positioned in any driveway or lot at anytime in such a manner as to interfere with snow removal and sanding operations. Vehicles found in violation shall be ticketed and/or towed at the owners expense. The parking ban shall remain in effect until this notice is removed.

Snow Emergency Parking Ban Rules
During a Snow Emergency Parking Ban, as declared by the Andover Police Department, there will be no overnight parking allowed on any streets in Andover, except for public safety, public works and public utility vehicles. Also, no vehicles shall be parked or positioned at anytime in such a manner as to interfere with snow removal and sanding operations. Vehicles in violation of these rules shall be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense.
