Spring Cleaning Turns Up Marijuana at West Middle
The police logs for Monday, April 11, contained one arrest and several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.
Monday, April 11
At 5:42 p.m. police arrested Maria Caruso, 47, of 172 Haverhill St., Apt. 237, on North Main Street. Caruso was charged with assault and battery on a household member, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct.

At 8:53 a.m. a motor vehicle accident was reported on William Street and Poor Street. No injuries were reported.
At 9:15 a.m. a caller reported a sick coyote on Abbot Street. An officer could not locate the animal.

At 11:39 a.m. a noise complaint about a barking dog was reported on Oak Street. An officer spoke with the dog owner.
At 1:25 p.m. the Rolling Green golf course on Lowell Street reported that an owl fell out of a tree. An officer transported the owl to Andover Animal Hospital.
At 4:10 p.m. the principal of the West Middle School reported the custodial staff found a bag of marijuana at the school during spring cleanup. An officer reported that it was a small bag and it was destroyed.
