Teenager Hit by Truck on Red Spring Road

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.
Wednesday, Oct. 31
At 5:14 a.m. a caller reported loud music coming from an apartment above her on Pine Brook Drive. The music was turned down.

At 11:09 a.m. an officer reported a two-car motor vehicle accident on Main Street with no injuries. No damage was reported.
At 1:41 p.m. a caller reported that she found pepper spray in her yard on Main Street. An officer picked it up and discarded it.

At 1:47 p.m. a National Grid worker in the area of Beacon Street reported a suspicious sign in a window. The worker reported a sign in the window of a home that said "Please Help Me." An officer spoke with the homeowner who said it was a Halloween decoration and that there were no problems at the home.
At 8:49 p.m. a caller reported a large pot hole on Frontage Road. She said the pot hole already gave her two flat tires. The resident placed cones around it and the officer contacted the highway department to fix the problem.
Thursday, Oct. 1
At 10:50 a.m. a caller reported that two political signs were stolen from her yard on Bartlet Street.
At 11:18 a.m. a caller reported two past break-ins to a building on North Main Street.
At 11:26 a.m. police arrested Daniel C. Ryan, of 213 Chickering Road, Ap. 8, North Andover, on Central Street. Ryan was arrested on a outstanding warrant.
At 5:24 p.m. a caller reported a two-car crash on Haverhill Street. No injuries were reported.
Friday, Oct. 2
At 9:01 a.m. a caller reported that a vehicle was broken into on Riverside Drive and items were stolen from the vehicle.
At 11:44 a.m. an officer stopped and motor vehicle on River Road and eventually summons the operator for possession of a class D substance, which was under an ounce of marijuana.
At 2:21 p.m. a caller reported a 16-year-old boy that was hit by a truck while walking on Red Spring Road. The victim was transported to Lawrence General Hospital by an Andover Fire Department ambulance. The operator of the truck was not cited
At 3:11 p.m. a caller on Gleason Street reported that he "cut off his fingers." The patient was transported to Lawrence General Hospital.
At 3:44 p.m. a caller reported a car crash at the Sunoco Station on North Main Street. No injuries were reported.
At 9:26 p.m. police arrested Michael Noel, 29, of 1 High Pine Ave., Nashua, N.H., on River Road. Noel was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and possession of a class A substance.
At 9:37 p.m. police arrested Daniel Degrace, 31, of 1 Salvail Court, Apt. 1, Nashua, N.H., on River Road. Degrace was charged with possession of a class A substance.
