: This unfortunate incident was reported shortly before Thanksgiving of this year and surrounded the hazing of Andover boys basketball team members. The incident, which occurred over the summer at a basketball camp in Easton, resulted in the expulsion of two students.
: The region was surprised with a snow storm in October that left 90 percent of Andover without power for nearly a week. With leaves still on the trees, the late October storm hit Andover hard, even resulting in the postponement of Halloween.
: An August Hurricane had another large effect on power in the town of Andover and left thousands of homes without power. While not as bad as predicted, the storm still took down trees throughout town and required significant response by the town's public works department along with National Grid.
