Signs of positive economic activity as well as celebrity happenings were featured in the top five articles this week.

Celebrity laundry, local relief for the Missouri tornado victims and Andover unemployment statistics were among the top articles this week. Check out these articles and more in the Week in Review. 

  • – Two local residents own a Boston-area dry cleaning company that has been handling the wash loads for the many Hollywood movies being shot in Boston.
  • - Andover's unemployement rate went down by 4 percent since April of 2010 until April 2011. However, Andover already shows some of the lowest unemployment rates compared to surrounding communities. 
  • - The Golden Warriors ball team defeated Dracut 6-0 at a consolation game in the Lowell Spinners World Series tournament after falling to Lowell on Monday. It’s being introduced as an opportunity for the youngest of the Kid’s Club crowd to enjoy a dedicated summer program that will nourish their minds while also developing their physical and social skills.
  • – Are you looking for a way to help the pets of devastated Missouri? Three local businesses are collecting donations to support the tornado relief effort in Missouri. Ciao! Bow Wow, the North Andover pet supply retailer, River Road Veterinary Hospital of Andover, and Beyond the Leash, professional dog training service of Boxford, are reaching out to concerned citizens and pet lovers to help victims of the disaster.
