• – Two local residents own a Boston-area dry cleaning company that has been handling the wash loads for the many Hollywood movies being shot in Boston.
• - Andover's unemployement rate went down by 4 percent since April of 2010 until April 2011. However, Andover already shows some of the lowest unemployment rates compared to surrounding communities. 
• - The Golden Warriors ball team defeated Dracut 6-0 at a consolation game in the Lowell Spinners World Series tournament after falling to Lowell on Monday. Bow Wow, the North Andover pet supply retailer, River Road Veterinary Hospital of Andover, and Beyond the Leash, professional dog training service of Boxford, are reaching out to concerned citizens and pet lovers to help victims of the disaster.
