• – The Essex National Heritage Commission and the Merrimack Valley Planning Commission (MVPC) recently announced a partnership project focused on developing the Merrimack Valley River Trail linking six cities and 11 towns from Tyngsborough to Newbury including an existing stretch through Andover.
• – Fire officials believe a lightning strike may have started a fire on the third floor of a single family home this past Wednesday morning on Hawk Ridge Road. Check out a video as well.
• – A man believed to have robbed several banks around the state was caught by the FBI and Andover Police Tuesday evening. Both the man and his female accomplice were arrested and are currently being held.
• - Friday’s dance revival, hosted by the Andover Historical Society as part of their 100^th year celebration, was held outside on the grounds of the old Balmoral Spa, now the Tactician Building, on North Main Street. The theme for the night was “Dancing Under the Stars” and was set to be a lovely evening to remember.
