Check out Andover Patch's top five posts over the past week.

A double fatal accident and local displays of Bruin's mania were among the top five articles for the week of June 13 to June 19.

  • - Police responded to an accident on Interstate 93 last Saturday that ended taking the lives of two men. An allegeldy intoxicated Lawrence woman was driving the vehicle believed to have caused the accident.
  • Shayna Fernandez, the 21-year-old Lawrence resident arrested following a double fatal accident, was arraigned on Monday in an emotional courtroom at Lawrence District. She pleaded not guilty to vehicular homicide.
  • - The girls varsity lacrosse team made further in the playoffs this year than any other in team in Andover High School history. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to beat Lincoln-Sudbury in the North Section Finals this past Saturday.
  • - Downtown Andover boutiques once again grouped together to bring customers into downtown and around some of the newest summer fashions. The Boutique Blowout features deals and specials at boutiques throughout downtown Andover. Those involved say it is a way to remind folks to buy locally and support the local economy.
  • - Several Andover residents were more than happy to talk to Andover Patch on the street to give their opinions about the Bruins' fight for the Stanley Cup. Luckily, most of them were right and, as the rest of the world knows, the Bruins went on to take it.
