Distribution system flushing will take place Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM. Please check the Town’s website periodically for updates and a listing of streets and neighborhoods that may be affected.
The flushing process may cause discolored water and a reduction in pressure. The discoloration of the water will be temporary. To help alleviate the problem, please run the outside spigot(s) until the water clears. Prior to washing any clothing, please make sure to check your water. If the condition persists, please contact the Public Works Water Division at 978-623-8862 from 7 AM to 3 PM or 978-623-8860 after hours.
